Ehtesham: He plays our main character Ismail's younger self. We needed a young actor who could display the certain type of emotions we had in mind for the character and someone who is interested in acting in our film. So we decided to ask our friend Taha if his younger brother Ehtasham would be down to play that role. And he was thrilled to be in it so we decided to go with him. 

Diya Khawar (me): I played the step mom in the film. At first we wanted to go with an older women but because of the narrative changes and scheduling issues we decided I can play the step mom.
This helped us as I was able to portray my character in a way that I thought would fit our narrative. 

Ismail Imtiaz : He played our main character Ismail .Trying to find our main character was a challenge itself because a lot people we asked didn't want to portray that character because of the expressions was way out of their comfort zone. But thankfully one of our friend Ismail volunteered to act in this film. 
And thankfully Ismail portrayed our character perfectly and truly brought justice to our vision. 

Ismails real mother:  And lastly for this one specific small scene that contributed alot to the films plot we wanted to show Ismails mom after her death so we decided to use the picture where where Huma aunty holding young Ismail in our film.
