Film Inspiration
 
 As we move to the next part of our film which is the narrative construction. We decided on different social issues that we specifically wanted to target.

We wanted to incorporate bullying culture in our film and how it affects a kid. In this film the kid named Augie is born with a medical facial deformity and the parents decide to home school him but as he grows older and they decide to enrol him into a private middle school where he starts go get bullied buy a group of  boys in  his class. This film also reflects the labelling theory by Emile Durkheim in which he says that society labels the minority or something that is different to them deviant. Which is exactly what Augie feels, he feels different from everyone because that's how people around him make him feel. 

This is another film we took inspiration from. In this film we decided to shift our focus to  main characters younger brother Arnie who is mentally disabled. The disability isn't specified but in perspective it looks like a severe development and its on the autism spectrum. We looked into Arnie's mannerism and how he communicates which helped both our actors the older and younger version of someone who suffers from Autism.
