Despite their big age gap she marries him young and discover his drug abuse history and violent behaviour. After his physical absence and affairs she finally gathers the courage to confront him and when she does Elvis shows yet another aggressive episode after she decides to leave him and drive off to pursue her independent life.

I, Tonya is another biography about a figure skater, Tonya Hardings, After training to be a figure skater she marries Jeff and becomes one of Usa top figure skater. But her husband Jeff turns out to be abusive so she leaves and and tries out competes for the 1994 winter olympics, she performs really well but is underscored because she wasn't from a functional nuclear family. Which forces her to go  back to her abusive husband to sell the picture of the perfect nuclear, american family. 

 

Social class perspective

Slumdog millionaire is a movie about 3 kids from a slum in India who are found by a group of gangsters who train children to become beggars, the boys escape the gang leaving the girl behind. The protagonist all grown up competes for a show "who want to be a millionaire" and ultimately wins after being arrested for suspicion of cheating.

Titanic is one the the most globally recognised film. Its a historical, Romance film that highlights the social barrier amongst the rich and poor. Jack is arrested after hes found having the necklace of Rose, the fiance of a wealthy man. When the ships starts to sink the noble families are prioritised for safety first.

Representation of ethnicity 

This film is about a Muslim guy who struggles with Autism who meets and marries a girl while selling her beauty products. After a while of them being happily married, 9/11 takes place and their life takes turn for the worst as his stepson gets bullied because of his surname "Khan" and gets up injured eventually killing him. The wife blames him for this and sarcastically tells him to tell the president that his name is khan and he's not a terrorist. Taking her request seriously he goes to find to find the president that tell him that.
