Phantom of the opera is a 2004 Romance musical ,its one of my favorite movies because of the lighting, the mise-en-scene and especially, its soundtrack which composed my Andrew Lloyd Webber. This movie became one of the most famous musical ever due to the soundtrack.

Black swan is a 2010 psychological horror/drama thriller in which the protagonist finds fearing that her role would be given to someone else and starts hallucinating. Ending with her having a fight with her doppelganger and ending up stabbing the doppelganger(herself). After giving the performance she realises she stabbed herself setting herself free from the one sided competition she had in mind. 

Caroline is  a 2009 dark fantasy animated film. Its a stop- motion film with great visuals directed by Henry Selick . Its based on the novel caroline and one of the best animated pieces I've seen.  

The corpse bride is one the my favorite pieces of  media since I was 6. This movie has a lot of great visuals and story telling.. This movie teaches us to let go and move on. Emily who is tormented by her past decides to get peace by marrying Victor, she doesn't go through it after realising she is denying Victor and Victoria and happy life together. Emily learns to find peace and makes us see that holding on to something isn't always in our best interest
